Welcome to the Vermont Prevention Division of Substance Use Programs(DSU) Listserv!

This listserv is operated by the Vermont Department of Health, and membership is open to the public. The Health Department reviews all listserv submissions and may reject posts that are not appropriate for the listserv.

The purpose of the listserv is to provide a resource for partners to network and share accomplishments, challenges, insights and resources for substance use prevention in Vermont. Current members include community prevention professionals, State staff and others working in the alcohol and other drug field. There are also members of the State legislator and Federal congressional delegation on this listserv.

This is a public listserv and posts can be accessed via online search engines, the listserv archive, or upon requests made to the moderator.

What can you share on the listserv?
• Programs, policies and evidence-based practices being implemented
• Evaluation methods and results
• Relevant data from trusted sources
• Upcoming training opportunities and needs
• Resources and funding announcements
• Position openings in the field
• Stories of success and challenges

What can you not share on the listserv?
• Subjects or comments that would be more appropriate to discuss through other methods
• Issues not directly related to the substance use field
• Lobbying on legislative bills or positions on political policy
• Promotion of private products or services

The Health Department is not responsible for the posts or opinions of members. Community education tools shared by members are not vetted nor necessarily endorsed by the Health Department.

Subscribe to VDH.VermontPrevention by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
