Vermont EAB Update

  * An update has been made to the Emerald Ash Borer Infested Area Map<http://vtanr.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=cfda013ad1464b7b9103a3d7806f0cc5> on 9/14/2018 to reflect an expansion in the infested area, due to a new detection in Stamford.
  * Elsewhere in the region, EAB has recently been confirmed for the first time in western York County, ME<https://www.maine.gov/dacf/about/news/news.shtml?id=810860>.

Moving any infested material, especially ash firewood, logs, and pruning debris, can quickly expand the infestation of EAB. It is important that we work together and follow the 'slow the spread<https://vtinvasives.org/land/emerald-ash-borer-vermont/slow-spread-of-eab>' recommendations that protect the health of Vermont's forests.
