[JUD.LawOfficeStudyProgram] Seeking LOS Sponsor

Catie,
I recommend keeping an eye on the VBA's and the State of Vermont's job openings websites, or any other sources for positions as a legal secretary/assistant, paralegal, or basic office assistant in a law firm. That is a great first step to more easily finding a sponsoring attorney. I've found that attorneys are also more willing to sign on if you can present them with a clear study plan that requires minimal effort and time on their part.
Best of luck!
Angela

Hello,
My name is Catie Michael, and I am currently a senior at the University of Vermont. Upon graduating, I am hoping to participate in the Law Office Study Program. I am reaching out because I have been struggling to find someone willing to sponsor my apprenticeship. I was wondering if any of you have any advice for finding a placement, or perhaps know of any attorneys who might be able to sponsor me.
I am willing to relocate for the job, so I am happy to work anywhere in the state.
All the best,
Catie
