The 6th annual VT Suicide Prevention Symposium, will be held on June 5, 2018 in Stowe, VT, with a theme of “IT TAKES ALL OF US:  Building Connections for Suicide Prevention Across the Lifespan”. This cross-agency statewide event brings together professionals across all sectors for a day of learning on critical topics and skills in suicide prevention, treatment, and recovery.  Success in suicide prevention relies on the connections between community providers, health care, educational and mental health organizations.

WHAT: We are seeking proposals for brief, 10-15 minute talks to a symposium audience of over 200. Your talk could cover experiences within your own Pathways to Care including lessons learned or advice you want to give.

Compensation for this speaking engagement will be a registration fee waiver and recognition in the program marketing and communications.

WHO: We would like to encourage survivors of suicide loss, survivors of suicide attempts, professionals and community members to submit proposals. Your personal stories and experiences make a difference!
