Alliance Welcomes New Executive Director & Data Analyst!

Earlier this year, the Executive Committee hired Christine Johnson and Kayla Donohue as staff for the CCOA. Christine is the new Executive Director and comes to the position most recently from her role as Deputy Director of Capstone Community Action. She is a native of Milton and lives in Essex with her husband, twin daughters, and mother-in-law. She is passionate about community inclusion and systems change as we look to address important issues such as the opioid epidemic. Kayla is the new Data Analyst. She splits her time between the BPD and the CCOA. She most recently completed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CDC/CSTE) Applied Epidemiology Fellowship at VDH. She achieved her MPH from the Boston University School of Public Health, and is looking forward to utilizing data to support collaborative and evidence-based solutions to combat this pertinent public health and safety issue. Both Kayla and Christine are excited to partner with communities in Chittenden County, providers, schools, local and state government, and people whose lives have been impacted by opioids to collectively identify and implement strategies to turn the curve on this horrific crisis. If you'd like to follow current data about the opioid epidemic, as well as information about how we are measuring our impact, please visit our website: www.ecosproject.com/chittenden-county-opioid-alliance/<http://www.ecosproject.com/chittenden-county-opioid-alliance/>
