Regional Prevention Partnership Coordinator

- Rutland Regional Medical Center, Rutland, VT - per diem
- 8:00am-4:30pm
- day shift
THIS IS A TEMPORARY, GRANT-FUNDED POSITION. This position coordinates and promotes the Regional Prevention Partnerships (RPP) grant objectives and activities for substance abuse prevention within the Rutland Region. Working with a variety of community agencies, the Regional Prevention Partnership Coordinator will be instrumental in combining local resources to facilitate a community-based approach to collaborate, plan, communicate, implement and report out on activities and events supported by the RPP initiative. Timely documentation and reporting in conjunction with grant requirements is also within the scope of this position.
Minimum Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Health or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Work Experience
• One year of community organizing and program coordination/management and implementation.
• Experience developing and implementing integrated communication plans.
Required Licenses/Certifications
• Valid Drivers License required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively across various mediums and audiences.
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
• Ability to network and build cohesive professional relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to participate in required substance abuse prevention skills training programs.
• Willingness and ability to utilize personal transportation for business purposes.
• Familiar with needs assessment approaches and principles and measurement of results against goals.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness & critical thinking skills.
• Problem solving skills
• Basic Microsoft desktop computer application skills.
