Hello Listserv Members,

The Vermont Prevention ADAP Listserv is operated by the Vermont Department of Health. Current members of this listserv are community prevention professionals and volunteers, Vermont Department of Health staff, and others working in the alcohol and drug prevention field. We periodically send out reminders on how the listserv works. The purpose of the listserv is to provide an avenue for partners to network, share accomplishments, ideas, and resources aimed at substance misuse prevention in Vermont.

The listserv can be used to share:

  *   Programs, policies, and practices being implemented
  *   Evaluation methods or tools being used, and results achieved
  *   Upcoming training opportunities and needs
  *   Resources and funding announcements that could benefit all
  *   Position openings relevant to all
  *   Success stories and challenges

The listserv should not be used to:

  *   Address issues that might be better addressed individually or face-to-face
  *   Discuss issues not directly related to  prevention work
  *   Lobby or organize positions on legislative bills
  *   Actively promote the sale of private products or services

The Vermont Department of Health is not responsible for the posts and opinions of users, and may at times remove posts that are not consistent with the purpose of the listserv. Community education tools shared by members are not vetted nor necessarily endorsed by the Department of Health.
